On the palate it has a very intense body in which the bitterness partially balances, without overwhelming, the sweetness due to the residual sugar from fermentation.
Copper in color, this IPA-style beer is brewed using Summit, Celeia, East Kent Golding, Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo hops. The hopping, among which the notes of East Kent Golding stand out, gives it fresh and balsamic hints, with herbaceous and spicy notes in evidence. Description
Santiago de Cuba, Cuba
During the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, different methods for producing and mixing Ron spread in the Antilles.
In Cuba, thanks to the help of European and local technical innovations, a product with such a refined aroma and taste was developed that it took the name of Ron ligero, in opposition to the heavier distillates of other Caribbean origins. This method of distillation, aging and blending developed in Cuba, and in particular in Santiago de Cuba, continues to represent the highest expression of the Ron ligero manufacturing technique even today. Ron Santiago de Cuba is manufactured, aged and bottled solely in the city of Santiago de Cuba, in the first and oldest Cuban Ron factory, dating back to 1862.
The aging is totally 100% natural, and is carried out in selected and very old white oak barrels – some have been in use for more than 70 years. The heat and humidity of the Tropics naturally accelerate the evaporation of alcohol and fusion with woody substances. The entire production process is scrupulously controlled by the Ronero masters, who supervise the manufacturing of the aguardientes and their mezcla, and who in Santiago de Cuba are authentic celebrities who pass down the art of formulating Ron in its various assortments.

This is what makes Zacapa different from the others, only quality ingredients for superior products, like this 23 year old, aged in oak barrels that previously housed Bourbon and Sherry and obtained from a blend of Rums aged up to 23 years, for a noble distillate , elegant and refined like no other.
